Here is my newest tat and the cardboard vegetable garden in my room. Cadet Brock, Cadet Katherine and I made the corn together. I made the carrot and grass/flower.This is a stargazer lily and I got it as a 20th birthday present to myself. This is my favorite flower from my 2 week stint working at a flower shop. They are so beautiful and smell so fresh. Here is the LIFE CYCLE OF CORN as interpreted by us. Cardboard and acrylic paint. Close up of the popped kernels, with white watercolor, yellow acrylic, and gold glitter glue. Carrot! With finger paints from the dollar store and leftover acrylic. And finally the beginnings of a garden above my bed. There are plans to include birds and a hanging sky. Also cardboard and acrylic paint. I have no idea how this is all supposed to look, work, or um... function in general. So, with sincere hopes that I'm not fucking anything up, here's a painting I did last semester on a sunny day. Wednesday, February 07, 2007first zombie puppetsay hello to Myoho. made from aluminum wire, epoxy putty, foam, hot glue, clay, paint, and liquid plastic. this was more of a learning experiment so i didnt expect much. he still needs some feet , hair, and maybe some clothes. Wednesday, December 20, 2006this is the painting i gave eileen last year for her birthday. she wanted one of our friends to paint her something using her hair but she wouldnt do it so i did instead. all of the purple got there by me dipping my hair in acrylic paint and then just kind of setting it on the canvas. by the end of the night i had ruined my carpet and my hair had turned silver, blue and pink.
