Friday, August 31, 2007INKED VEGGIESIts been awhile, dear art party. Here is my newest tat and the cardboard vegetable garden in my room. Cadet Brock, Cadet Katherine and I made the corn together. I made the carrot and grass/flower.This is a stargazer lily and I got it as a 20th birthday present to myself. This is my favorite flower from my 2 week stint working at a flower shop. They are so beautiful and smell so fresh.  Here is the LIFE CYCLE OF CORN as interpreted by us. Cardboard and acrylic paint.  Close up of the popped kernels, with white watercolor, yellow acrylic, and gold glitter glue.  Carrot! With finger paints from the dollar store and leftover acrylic.  And finally the beginnings of a garden above my bed. There are plans to include birds and a hanging sky. Also cardboard and acrylic paint. Tattoo flash doodles, one of my three current tattoos, etc. Enjoy and be inspired... or ignore.  ((did that one while i was supposed to be working..for money))  Geisha face, sakura branch, and the kanji for 'singer' if I'm not much mistaken. I thought it might look nice on my side or something...  I like the idea of that picture redrawn without the cards.. I just like the idea of the vines around the heart.. someone should get that done. I already have a heart tattoo, and I don't particularly want a heart theme in my body art.  My heartagram tattoo..  Someday I will make an entire lady out of music symbols and call her the Muse-ician. She will be the inspiration to musicians everywhere. But until then, I think a bust will do.  This is my next planned tattoo, to represent The White Stripes. I drew that all on MS Paint. I think I'm going to get it on my lower abdomen, in between my hip bones. That seems like a sexy place to put some peppermints.  For all the Scorpios...  For all the fighters...  And finally, for those long distance loves, until they can be reunited. Could be redrawn for two men, two women, whoever. It's the idea. Thanks for paying attention! It is an oak leaf. There is no deep meaning-- I just like the way they look, sound, fall, crumble, etc. Also, they are the best to draw on. So, I figured it was time to have it drawn on me. The first picture was taken by Joe for the sole purpose of sending to my sister who lives in China and Katherine who has not seen it. The second is a polaroid that Brandon took of ours together.
